Learn To Glide - £850*

A very popular present for someone special - including yourself!

This course includes all launches and all airtime in our gliders, and membership of Windrushers Gliding Club for one year. The package deal is predominately winch launching, but at the instructor's discretion, some aerotows or motor glider flights that may be necessary can be included for specific exercises. This is an open ended package until you reach solo standard. If you do not reach solo within your first year, you must pay the normal membership fee at renewal time.

Learn to glide in Oxfordshire! If you can drive a car, you can learn how to glide! This comprehensive training course is aimed to get you from zero to solo at minimal cost. This course is designed to be used at weekends, where you would become an active part of the weekend flying team, although you would be more than welcome to turn up mid-week on days that are not overwise booked up.

The scheme is valid:-
Up to and including the member’s first solo flight, but the membership part of the deal covers the first year only.

Flying Start - £295*

A popular 'taster' introduction to gliding!

The Flying Start course includes 3 months membership to Windrushers Gliding Club, and £250 of flying credit which is ‘flown off’ at club rates – see the Price List under Full. This should give you around 30 Winch Launch flights or 8 Aerotows. This will take you a significant way through your training to become a pilot! Includes pilot’s log book. You can either fly at the weekends by putting your name on the daily flying list when you arrive at the launch point, or come out mid-week if the day is not otherwise booked up.

Once you go solo on the Learn to Glide package, all future flights will be charged at normal club rates plus soaring fees.
