We will be holding the funeral and celebration of John's life at the Chiltern
Woodland Burial Park on Saturday 7th May.
The park is near Beaconsfield. More details are at the bottom of this email.
The ceremonies will begin at 11:00 am. Teas and coffee
will be available from about 10:00 am. Please arrive in good time.
There will be sandwiches and refreshments after the interment. If you could
let us know whether you can attend it will help for planning quantities.
The celebration and refreshments will be indoors. The burial site is about
10 minutes walk away through the woods, along packed gravel and woodchip
paths, so if you would like to attend the interment, please plan appropriate
footwear.
Dress: Smart preferable to somber please.
Flowers and Donations: We would prefer donations to charities
John was involved with over floral tributes. Please note that the park is
strict about no plastic, wrapping etc around flowers as it is a natural
environment. The preferred charities are Bomber
Command Association in support of the memorial sculpture and the Florence
Nightingale Hospice . Cheques may be sent c/o K.Y. Green, 29 Cambridge
Street, Aylesbury, Bucks HP20 1RP (Tel: 01296 482041). If you can supply
Gift Aid declarations then the charities will benefit more from your generosity.
A Gift Aid declaration must include:
· your full name
· your home address
· the name of the charity
· details of your donation, and it should say that it's a Gift Aid
donation
