Organise a Group Flying Event!
Flight and Bite - for groups of friends
We have re-vamped our popular Flight and Bite package deal for 2010. Once again, we are offering a great afternoon or evening's flying combined with a tasty sociable meal to groups of 10 or more friends or work-mates at a much reduced price compared to our normal trial lesson flights. Each participant receives a personal lesson on flying a glider. These events are planned for Wednesdays and Fridays, from April to October. - Cost per person - £30, inclusive of VAT
- A winch launch to between 800 and 1500 feet!
- Great BBQ
- Really great fun
- For those who can't get enough - a second lesson, £10 (If time permits)
- Non-flyers can join in the BBQ of course
- Use of the bar after flying is over

- Plus you get three months introductory membership
- And yes, you get to fly the glider as part of the trial lesson

Restrictions: Age - over 14, weight - 16st or less, height - 6' 2" and under. Minimum number to fly: 10.
Special Group Events / Corporate Day Out
An upgrade to the Flight and Bite format for those who want something even better! Includes extended training on flying the glider.

- Use of our briefing room for a pre-flight / post-flight business meeting / conference
- Formal presentation on gliding, airfield safety, and what to expect from this thrilling experience
- Delegates are split into small groups with an instructor as the team leader
- Aerotow to 2000 feet above the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside
- Yes, you get to control the glider as part of the trial lesson!
- A glass of Champagne or Bucks Fizz in the patio area
- A two course gourmet BBQ served under the marquee
- Flight certificates for everyone who flew
- All event delegates are welcome to use the members' bar, AFTER flying
Like our Flight and Bite event, we require a minimum of 10 for catering. Lower numbers can be accommodated, but please contact us to discuss. Calls to 01869 252439 are answered at almost any time of day.

Corporate Days With a Difference!
We can also provide a full day event for your clients or staff, with excellent catering. This can be tailored to your exact needs, but typically proceeds as follows.
- The group arrive together for a tea / coffee and pastries continental breakfast
- Formal presentation on gliding, airfield safety, and what to expect from this thrilling experience
- Small groups formed with an instructor as team leader
- A high aerotow and lesson on flying, for a stunning view of Oxfordshire
- A 20 minute motor glider flight for more hands-on training
- Break for a three course gourmet lunch
- Three further lessons, using the winch to launch the glider
- Optional aerobatic lessons can be included for those with a taste for adventure
- After flying Pimms or Champagne reception, where flight certificates are handed out
Because each event is tailored to your requirements, cost has to be discussed individually.
