Flying Program

We hold several flying events every year and so, to help members plan their flying around them (or to take part in them), we will update the table below at regular intervals.
Closer to each the event, we will add the details to the general Google Calendar (as opposed to the members' booking in calendar).

17 -25 August '08 18m National Championship National championship, the third Nationals we've hosted in four years!

19 - 27 July '08 Bicester Regionals Our extremely popular Regional gliding competition. Fully booked in early January!

3rd - 7th Dec 2007 OUGC Training Week Annual training week for new university students.
27th August 2007 Air League Fly-In Promoting aviation in general, especially among younger persons.
21st - 29th July 2007 Bicester Regionals Our highly popular Regional competition, which last year attracted 70 or so competitors.
3rd - 6th July 2007 Soaring Week Another chance to fly cross-country with other pilots on the same task.
23rd June 2007 Luscombe Round Britain Rally A breakfast break fly-in for the pilots on their long trip.
17th June 2007 Pietenpol Aircampers Fly-in by vintage aircraft group.
16th - 24th June 2007 OUGC Training Week End of term training event. Instructors needed.
4th - 8th June 2007 Soaring Week A chance to fly cross-country with a group of pilots on the same task.
2nd June 2007 OUGC Reunion A chance meet old faces, to fly, and show their kids what they got upto when they were young(er).
13th January 2007 Snowball Rally PFA Fly-In event, brings some powered aircraft for a visit.

20 - 28th August 2005 Junior National Championships Younger pilots from around the country, including the all-conquering British Juniors Team compete for the National title.
