Flying Program

We hold several flying events every year and so, to help members plan their flying around them (or to take part in them), and we will update the table below at regular intervals.
Closer to each the event, we will add the details to the general Google Calendar (as opposed to the members' booking in calendar).

16th - 18th Sept 2011 Club Fournier International A small fly-in by Fournier motor gliders.
BBQ on the Saturday evening.
23rd - 31st July 2011 Bicester Regionals 2011 The most popular regional championship in the UK. Just be there!
25th June - 3rd July 2011 Standard Class Nationals 2011 Once again we are hosting a Nationals, and it's the Standards, again.
8th June 2011 Rochester Fly-in Annual fly-in from the Rochester flying group.
4th June 2011 Air League Day Regular visit from the Air League, promoting flying and gliding for young people.
28th May - 5th June 2011 Grand Prix Week Glider competition with a difference! Lots of fun, limited places available.
21st - 29th May 2011 Vintage Gliding Club Rally Historic wooden wonders visit Bicester for another week.
16th - 24th April 2011 Portmoak Members visit to the famous wave flying site in Scotland
4th April 2011 Seven Day a Week We return to flying seven days a week. Professional instructors on site.
7th-15th August 2010 Inter Uni Task Week Make an educated guess about this one...
21st-29th August 2010 Junior Nationals When the kids come out to play, for real.
24th July - 1st August 2010 Bicester Regionals The most popular regional competition in the entire UK.
3rd July 2010 Air League Day Annual visit to promote all types of flying.

22nd-31st May 2010 National Vintage Glider Rally See the history of gliding before your very eyes as wooden wonders take to the skies.
29th May - 6th June 2010 Bicester Task Week An informal cross-country week.
7th-9th May 2010 Aerobatic Competition This is the first aerobatic comp we've run, for pilots with strange attitudes.
2nd-11th April 2010 Portmoak Expedition OJ organises the annual Universities' Wave Away Week.
