01 am Anyway, So what DID Derren say to Anne? (Just hold the mouse over the words.)
30 am At briefing the weatherman said there was a small chance of a small flying window this afternoon. It is expected to improve steadily during the rest of the week. We are re-briefing at 12:00 pm
30 am Weatherman has persueded the tasksetter that it's looking better, but it could be a rather short, minimum distance task.
45 am Max the task setter says it WILL be a short task. Setting it at this moment. Re-briefing now set for 1:00pm.
12 pm The task is set. Bic - Hob - Che - Edg - Bic 155 km. First launch provisionally at 13:30 pm, but dependant on the sniffer reporting acceptable conditions.
02 pm Max has just scrubbed the task. Sniffer was reporting 2200' cloudbase and 2kt thermals, making progress into the 25kt wind somewhat tricky.
