8:00am It's the final day, and I awoke to the sound of rain pitter-pattering on the roof of my caravan and the wind whistling a soulful tune of dispair. It looks like the chances of flying are rather low, but as usual the task-setter and met man will scrutinize the weather information and try to squeeze in a task if possible. However we don't want to task simply as a tug pilot's benefit day, so we will only fly if there is a chance of getting round.
9:15am For all competitors, we will be making a free CD with all the photos, IGC files, met for the day and so on. If you are a competitor and would like a copy, contact Dickie with your details and the address where you'd like it sent.
10:30am Well, as the weather is pretty poor, we scrubbed and had prize-giving early. I'll put up the winners' pictures later today. The nice man from EW said they couldn't make the microRecorders fast enough to get us two on time, so instead we presented the winners with a picture of the logger. Some people are easily pleased...

Above far left - Mike Fox the winner of the sports class, and left John
Wilton, the winner of the Open Class.
I've put up the prize giving pictures, after a bit of a delay. Sorry, but I was working for two days.
Remember if a competitor wants a copy of the CD with the day results, .IGC files and a selection of even more pictures, then just contact Dickie Feakes
Feel free to contact our sponsors - EW, WaverleyTBS and Sky-Web for flight recorders, bar supplies and web/database services, respectively.
I've put up the final results now, as some pilots wished to see them.
