7:30am Dan the Weather says it will be a bit tricky to forecast today, but Max is planning several variations on a theme.
8:30am We've had the local radio here interviewing some competitors and the organisers. They seemed impressed with how many gliders were involved and the effort the organisers go to in running the comp. Hope the competitors are as appreciative too. ;)
With some late retrieves (Louise and 'DG the DG' got back at 2:30am!), we are processing the last few loggers from yesterday and hope to have the scores updated in an hour or so.
And well done to Sunay (HGG) who, after completing the task yesterday, then retrieved K19, getting back at 1:30am.

Or B Task Bicester Northwest - Moreton in the Marsh - Towcester - Winslow - Bic Airfield = 124.7km
Or C Task Bicester Northwest - cheltenham - Sackville - Bic Airfield = 233.1km

Sport A Task Bicester East - Wantage - Aylesbury - Calvert - Bic Airfield = 107.8km
Or B Task Bicester East - Membury - Mursley - Bic Airfield = 150.0km

We will decide on which tasks to fly closer to the time of launching, which will not be before 12:00

12:00 After an hour of greyness, it's starting to brighten up a little bit. Still going to wait a bit before launching them though.

14:17 Open class is scrubbed.

14:50 The sniffer is still grimly hanging on, but only by working very hard in weak thermals. So sadly we have just scrubbed the Sport class as well.

19:00 It seems we were just 10 miles away from taskable weather. But locally it wasn't so good and rather than risk committing the field to a mass landout nearby, it was felt to be a safer option to scrub.
