Briefing is at 10:00am.
9:45am Briefing delayed until 10:30am, while we set a nice task or two.
Tasks are set, and we now prefer the B tasks to the A tasks.

Task B - Bicester East - Papworth - Pendock - Bic A/F - 313.9km
Sport - Task A Calvert - Bozeat - Cheltenham - Bic A/F = 205.5km
Task B Calvert - Bedford - Pendock - Bic A/F = 262.5km
First launch after 11:30am.
11:45am Launching the Sport Class at 12:00, on the bigger B task of 262.5km
And the Open Class will launch immediately after them, also on their B task of 313.9km
Sport Class starts were spread over a 25 minute period, and all were gone by 13:13
Open Class - the first 17 gliders started within 2 minutes of each other, by 13:29. Followed at 13:35 by the next small gaggle of 6 or 7, then the times start to spread out a bit more.
14:00 And 379 is the first land-out of the day, in the Sport Class. Oops, ETY is down as well.
16:10 First of the finishers back soon - just heard KAW call five mins (Sporty) and I think I missed
another one or two. BJ might be one I missed. MF might be the other one I missed.
16:14 It's T19 in five mins now (an early starter). 615 is a couple of mins behind him. And KMC two mins behind him.
16:22 HGG has called five mins, he is one of those fighting for first place, and was a late starter.
But has he caught up enough on the others?
264 is just behind him. FJK and ML are five mins behind them.
16:27 D54, 165 and A20 in five mins (the last two being late starters).
C29 is a minute behind this group. J34 is a minute behind as well.
16:31 It's 466 and GW in five minutes - coming in thick and fast now. With MH and 846 behind them.
GAM was just before this group, but I missed them.
16:36 AA is coming home! W4 as well.
And J15, first of the Open class has just called five minutes as well, and was a late starter in his
class. But will his high handicap count against him? Z27, second of the Opens, just called. 7 is just
behind them.
16:48 It's DW, X8, JF, DUO and S27 due in five mins - a gaggle of Open class competitors.
With 221 sneaking in just ahead of them. And 963 behind them. Scores could be very close, some might
regret taking that extra 200' for luck.
16:54 Now it's KV, TC and X15 calling five mins, with K5, X17, 265 and some others just behind them.
17:00 So many finishing now, I can't keep up with them (but my little glider, LS8, is due back soon as
well).
17:10 Even more finishers now, all with happy smiles on their faces.
17:40 We are still getting finishers, and so far I haven't heard of any others landing out apart from the two
early one. Fingers crossed for the remaining gliders to get back.
18:02 And CCR, the little Ka6e, has just called 10km to run! Well done Debbie!!! And she's back, at 18:06
18:22 We now know that everyone is accounted for and back on the airfield, including the only two landouts and one who started his engine. That's 34 round the 313.9km task and 36 round the 262.6km task
